Worship Styles/Times
Worshipers at First Baptist may select from three different times/styles to suit their needs. All services are held in the sanctuary on Sunday morning.
8:00 a.m. - Early risers meet for an informal gathering with a mix of traditional and contemporary music led by a team of Praise Singers. At the conclusion of the service, worshipers are encouraged to take advantage of refreshments and greet friends in the Fellowship Hall and to be a part of a 9:30 a.m. small group Bible study.
9:30 a.m. - This service is contemporary in style with music led by a Praise Team and Band. Worshipers may greet friends over refreshments in the Fellowship Hall at 10:30 a.m. and move on to a small group Bible study at 11:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m. - In our most traditional/formal service, music is a mix of traditional hymns and moderately contemporary songs led by a choir, organ, and orchestral ensemble. Worshipers are encouraged to attend a small group Bible study at 9:30 a.m. followed by refreshments and greeting of friends in the Fellowship Hall at 10:30 a.m.
Joint Worship Services - A single 10:30 a.m. morning service for all three congregations to worship together. We focus on praise and celebration of God with combined music leadership groups leading the way--choir, orchestra, Praise Teams, and Praise Band.
