Lottie Moon Offering

The national goal of the International Mission Board (IMB) for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for 2009 was $175,000,000.

The 2009 goal for First Baptist Church was $60,000 and just under $57,000 was given. You may give at any time to this offering for 2010 and we will have a special ingathering during the December 2010 Mission Sunday worship service.

Please give generously as the foreign missionaries are now experiencing reduced funding and an inability to do ministry the way in which they are accustomed. Missionaries from our own congregation tell us that their budgets have been cut in half, creating a very difficult circumstance for the effectiveness and continuation of their ministry.
