AWANA is a ministry for children that blends Bible study, Scripture memorization, and lots of fun as a means of introducing our kids to the Holy Bible and to Jesus Christ.

At First Baptist Church's Awana Clubs run from Sept-first week of June.  We meet each Sunday evening from 5:00-6:30 p.m..  First time clubbers go to the Fellowship Hall.

Puggles: 2 year olds by Sept. 30, upper floor of children's building

Cubbies: 3 & 4 year olds by Sept. 30, lower floor of children's building

Sparks & T&T: K-6 grades, fellowship hall

Characteristics of the AWANA program include the following:

• Training offered to children from age 3 through the sixth grade (at FBC)• Clear, consistent presentation of the Gospel • Bible memory – the cornerstone • Circle games exclusive to AWANA • A fun approach to learning God’s Word • Leadership training that is second to none • The Church leaders of tomorrow trained to serve today • Evangelistic focus for reaching unsaved kids and families.
