Sunday School

Sunday School is a time when First Baptist Church seeks to reach and teach our preschoolers and children the Bible through age-appropriate curriculum and learning experiences. Sunday School is held at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday. Children, 2 months - Kindergarten, may remain in their Sunday School rooms for worship. Older children are encouraged to attend family worship. Children who are wanting to be a Christian are encouraged to attend our "New Believers Class" for a 4-week session during the 9:30 a.m. Sunday School hour.

Extended Teaching Care (ETC)

ETC is offered at 8:00 & 10:45 a.m. for our preschoolers (2 mos - Kindergarten). Children have fun learning about God while Mom & Dad worship in the sanctuary.

Family Worship

A time to praise our Lord together @ 8:00 & 10:45 a.m. Children are encouraged to join their families in the sanctuary. Of course, preschoolers-kindergarten have the option of attending ETC (see above paragraph). At the back of the sanctuary, on the left side, you will find worship bags and clipboards (for the older child) updated each week with activities, sermon note page, etc., helping to make worship to be the best experience possible for your child.

Discipleship - AWANA

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) 2 Timothy 2:15

Preschool 2 year olds - 6^th grade

AWANA is a Christ-centered, scripture-focused program. Scripture memory is the cornerstone of this program as it encourages children along with with their parents to study God's Word. Come join us in Puggles (2's), Cubbies (3's & 4's), Sparks (K - 2^nd grade), and T & T (3^rd- 6^th grades) for a great time filled with games and study.

Preschoolers:

2 months-24 months(Childcare)......upper floor of Children's Building- for volunteers serving and adults attending Discipleship classes.

2's by Sept. 30 (Puggles).......meet on the upper floor of Children's Building

3's & 4's by Sept. 30 (Cubbies)......meet on lower floor of Children's Building
K - 6^th grade (Sparks and T&T).......meet in gym

All 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
