Supporting Missions by Praying

                Southern Baptists: a praying people impacting a lost world...

Psalm 2:8 states "Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession."  Are you willing to ask and intercede for unreached people throughout the world?  Find out more about becoming a Great Commission Intercessor!   Resources on effective prayer strategies, prayer walking, praying for missionaries, and targeting unreached people groups are available through the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board.

If my people who are called by name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  2 Chronicles 7:14.

Supporting Missions by Giving

In addition to contributing to local ministries and organizations, First Baptist members support state, national, and international missions through the southern Baptist cooperative Program, annual missions offerings, the church budget, and other designated contributions. Your faithful, generous, and sacrificial support of missionaries keeps them on the filed doing what God has called them to do.
