Worship

Worship at First Baptist is intended to encourage our response to God's great love for each of us with this singular task: LOVE GOD--it is what we were created for. We worship together to give praise and thanksgiving to God, to profess our devotion to Him, to receive inspiration and instruction for living, and to encourage one another in our common faith. We worship through singing, praying, reading God's Word, hearing the preached Word, giving of tithes and offerings, and by responding to God's invitation to eternal life and holy living.

Regular worship opportunities include Sunday services and Wednesday prayer/fellowship. During the Sunday worship services, preschoolers are cared for by adults in a structured learning environment appropriate to their particular ages.

The Sunday morning service is taped and broadcast at a later date on Comcast Cable's public access channel. Local radio station WINA (1070 AM) broadcasts portions of the services on Sunday mornings. See broadcast schedules.
